Rolling Mill Performance

The rolling mill is a device that implements the metal rolling process. It refers to the equipment that completes the whole process of rolling material production, including main equipment, auxiliary equipment, lifting transportation equipment and auxiliary equipment. However, the so-called rolling mills are often referred to only as the main equipment.
The working frame is composed of rolls, roll bearings, rolling mill guides, rolling mill housing frame, roll seats, roll adjusting devices, upper roll balancing devices and roll changing devices. Bearing series rolling mills generally use rolling mill bearings, commonly used four-row cylindrical roller bearings, installed in the roll neck of the rolling mill frame. The bearings used on the drums are usually subjected to radial loads by cylindrical roller bearings, deep groove ball bearings or angular contact ball bearings, or tapered roller bearings with radial design or thrust design, which are mostly subjected to axial lubrication. Oil mist lubrication is used to lubricate the bearings, which improves the efficiency and stability of the mill in the production line.
The lubrication of the bearing series rolling mill is basically the same as that of other rolling bearings. However, the working conditions of the rolling bearing are relatively bad, and the effective performance of the working performance depends largely on the lubrication of the bearing. The lubrication methods used for roll bearings are mainly grease lubrication and oil lubrication.
