The Reason and Solution of Steel Piling

The reasons for stacking steel between racks of wire rod mills are:
(1) Guide sticks steel;
(2) The guide wheel does not rotate or the bearing burns out;
(3) Splitting of rolled parts;
(4) The guide or roller ring is installed incorrectly;
(5) Improper setting of roll gap or unsatisfactory incoming material size;
(6) The guide is not fastened;
(7) The key of the roller is broken to loosen the roller;
(8) Roller fragmentation;
(9) Worn or cracked bearing of the roller shaft;
Reasons for stacking steel in waste box
When spinning 5 turns, the main reasons are:
1. The 28 # entrance guide guard is not good, such as the guide guard is biased, the opening is too large, the guide sticks to iron, and the guide roller does not turn, etc.
2. The rolling line between the 28 # exit guide and the waste box is not centered, the guide base is not correct, etc.
3. Excessive wear of the waste box or sticky iron of 28 # export guide guard.
The main reasons for spinning between 5-12 laps are:
1. Improper installation or excessive wear of the water cooling section.
2. There are foreign objects in the water cooling section.
3. Cooling water in the water cooling section, backflushing water, the gas nozzle is normally open, or opened too early, etc.
When spinning for about 12 laps, the main reasons are:
1. The middle guide of the pinch roller is biased.
2. The horn core tube of the spinning machine is excessively worn.
3. The pinch roller is normally closed.
The reason for the pile of steel in the waste box in the tail of the wire rod:
1. The speed matching between the finishing mill, pinch roll and spinning machine is incorrect.
2. The pinch roller opening is set incorrectly.
3. The pinch roller parameters are set incorrectly during the full clamping process, such as cylinder pressure, roller diameter, and current limit value.
4. The steel quality is not good, such as rotten steel, etc.
Determine where the steel head travels according to the number of spinning loops, and generally check the location and cause of the steel head impact before this position.
Measures taken for stacking steel in waste bins:
1. During the initial installation, the overturn guide groove of the waste box deviates from the rolling line, and then the base of the overturn guide groove of the waste box is re-centered.
2. After turning over the guide groove pin, the upper cover moves up and down, and in serious cases it can reach 0.5-0.6mm, and then replace the original pin with a screw.
3. The upper lid of the waste bin is too light, easy to open, and too heavy to provide protection. Later, the weight of the upper lid of the waste bin was increased.
4. Transform the guide guard behind the pinch roller to increase its inclination to prevent the steel head from hitting the inlet duct of the spinning machine.
5. The middle guide clamp of the pinch roller is biased, causing the middle guide biased and replaced with a new one.
6. Standards for the guide groove of the water-cooled section: the maximum wear diameter of the guide groove in the water-cooled section after finishing rolling is not more than 24mm, the maximum wear diameter of the small guide groove is not more than 19mm, the deviation from the center line does not exceed 2mm, and the guide tube swing does not exceed 2mm.
